Bridgestone Arena, home to the Nashville Predators since 1996, will receive an upgrade in the neighborhood of $1 Billion over the next 15 years.
Scheduled to begin in 2026, renovations will expand the facility approximately 175,000-square-feet, and the main entrance will be relocated to Fifth Avenue allowing it to align with the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and a new $2.2 billion Nissan Stadium, which will be home to the Tennessee Titans.
With upgrades expected to be completed in 2030, the majority of construction is expected to dominate the summer months of 2027, 2028 and 2029.
The arena offers a seating capacity of 19,395 for basketball, 10,000 to 20,000 for concerts, and 17,159 for ice hockey.
Ground was broken for Bridgestone Arena January 20, 1994 at a cost of $144 million.
It has had three renovations – 2007, 2011, and 2015.

WHY are taxpayers WASTING a billion dollars? IF these teams can pay millions in salaries they can build their own playgrounds.
