HARDIN County, TN – The second defendant in the First Degree murder case of Holly Bobo has a trial date set.
John Dylan Adams appeared in Hardin County Circuit Court. Adams is accused of the kidnapping, rape and murder of the 20-year-old nursing student from Parsons Tennessee. The abduction and case has drawn national attention,
Adams brother, Zach Adams, was convicted in September of all charges related to Bobo including First Degree murder.
A jury from Chattanooga is expected to be selected for the trial. Adams next court date is scheduled for Dec. 14. His trial is scheduled to begin May 29, 2018.
Prosecutors have said they do not intend to seek the death penalty or life without parole.
