Bart Horton, owner of Century Farm Winery, won the first annual NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM Watermelon Eating contest, which was held at the Blacksmith, Thursday.
Horton, who devoured 1.25 watermelons, won the $101.50 Blacksmith gift card.
The contest attracted eight contestants.
