AT&T Wireless Customers Have Issues Calling 911, Multi-State Problem

MADISON Co., Tenn — Multiple reports have come in from across the county regrading problems AT&T wireless customers are experiencing when trying to reach 911.   Kim Augustine, director of Madison County 911,  confirms that AT&T is experiencing a widespread problem in Tennessee.  Other media outlets are reporting similar problems in other states.

The issue is affecting wireless customers ability to call 911.  Augustine says, ” it is not an issue with Madison County’s 911 system. AT&T is aware and is working on the problem.”

If you are an AT&T wireless customer and are unable to call 911 in Madison County please call their administrative office at (731) 425-8430.

We will have more information as it becomes available.
