The construction you may have noticed at Mighty Product Center, 2495 Dr. F E Wright Drive, is a 30,000-square-foot addition.

“Mighty is expanding its distribution center for automotive parts, and we hope to have it completed by early June – if the weather leaves us alone,” Jeff Brasfield, president of Brasfield Construction Company said, laughing. “Actually, the winter has not been that tough, but when it rains it doesn’t dry quickly.”

Brasfield said a portion of the slab has been poured, and a metal building will be erected on the slab that ties into the existing facility that consists of 125,000-square-feet.

“The plan is to develop the adjacent seven or eight acres to the south of Mighty,” Brasfield said. “Consider how close it is to the interstate (40) … It is such a prime area.”
