Here’s what the weekend looks like for the Jackson Generals, beginning at 6:05 p.m., at the Ballpark at Jackson.
Today – Food Truck Friday/Hub City Hippos –
Two new promotions every Friday when the Generals play a home game.
Local food trucks will be inside the Ballpark at Jackson courtesy of Leaders Credit Union.
Also, the team will be recognized as the Hub City Hippos and will wear special Hippo jerseys and hats at every Friday home game in 2017. At seasons end, the game-worn jerseys will be signed and auctioned off with proceeds going to the Boys & Girls Club of Jackson thanks to Tennessee811.
Saturday, April 8 – Fireworks –
Saturday night features the first of 13 fireworks shows this season, following the 6:05 p.m. game between Jackson and Birmingham.
Sunday, April 9
First pitch – 2:05 p.m., for game four of the five-game series with Birmingham.
Monday, April 10 – Education Day –
It’s the first Education Day of the season. Students attending with their class receive free admission and an educational program before the 11:05 a.m., game.
Lunch packs with a hot dog, chips, a cookie and a drink will be available to purchase for just $6.
