Here’s the newest project under construction on Vann Drive

Here’s the next big thing for Vann Drive.

Gary A. Taylor, president of Gary A. Taylor Investment Co., said the project is a new automobile dealership for Jackson.

“We are excited about Perkins Motor Plex coming to Jackson,” Taylor said. “We are constructing a 3,000-square-foot office facility on 1.75 acres, located just east of Gander Mountain.”

The new dealership, which sells pre-owned vehicles, will be the fifth for Perkins Motor Plex.

They have three dealerships in Kentucky – Mayfield, Murray and Paducah, and one in Tennessee – Madison, which is north of Nashville.

“They pride themselves in ‘no haggle’ pricing, a non-commissioned sales staff, easy financing, 60-day warranty, large selection of vehicles, and any vehicle at any location can be purchased,” Taylor said.

A date for completing the project has not been announced.
