JACKSON, Tenn. - The Jackson-Madison County Board of Education will be searching for a new
Director of Schools.
Randall Bennett of the Tennessee School Boards Association, will lead
groups in discussions designed to determine their views about the issues
and challenges facing our school system and the job of Director of Schools.
Five meetings have been scheduled on Wednesday November 30, at the Jackson
State Community College Ayers Auditorium/ Lecture Hall
10:00 p.m. Classified Employees, Central Office Staff, Supervisors,
Principals
Noon Mayors, Community and Business Leaders, County
Commissioners, City Council (Jackson-Madison County Library)
3:00 p.m. Middle/High Schools Faculty and Staff, Maintenance
4:30 p.m. Elementary Schools Faculty and Staff
6:00 p.m. Community Forum
The public is welcomed and invited to attend ANY scheduled meeting at JSCC
Ayers Auditorium/Lecture Hall.
Board members are looking for your opinion on what leadership skills will
be needed to effectively serve Jackson-Madison County students.
