JACKSON, Tenn. - Homes throughout Midtown Jackson will be decked inside and out as the Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association (LANA) hosts its 24th annual Holiday Home Tour Fri., Dec. 2 through Sun., Dec. 4. The organizations primary fundraising event will feature an array of distinctive holiday decor, offering tour-goers the opportunity to enjoy the holiday splendor and to leave with holiday decorating ideas that can be replicated in their own homes. There are several free events such as the Lighting of the Lake and Cookies and Crafts with Santa on Fri., Dec. 2. The weekend also includes the popular Holiday Luncheon at Chandelier Cafe and Cater on Sat., Dec. 3 at noon. New this year is a first-of-its-kind road race with a holiday twist, the Christmas Cookie Classic, a food challenge run in which participants aim to complete a 2k run while stopping to eat Christmas cookies at checkpoints throughout the course taking place at 9:30 a.m. on Sat. Dec. 3 in Downtown Jackson. Holiday Home Tour chair and LANA President, Jenci Spradlin, promises something for everyone. “Midtown Jackson is vibrant and unique. The Holiday Home Tour and other holiday-themed events throughout the weekend allow us to showcase and share our neighborhood with young and old alike with a mixture of free events and special ticketed events, including a first-of-its-kind food challenge run in Jackson.”
