The 47th annual University School of Jackson’s Holiday Mart opened at 9 a.m. today, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.
USJ’s largest fundraiser has attracted 112 vendors featuring gifts, clothing and accessories, holiday and home decorative items.
“It’s always hectic, but it’s always fun,” co-chair Jennifer Whybrew said. “We have the Jingle Bell Mingle, which is our Ladies Night Out tonight, and Saturday at 9- and 10:45 a.m., we’ll have the ‘Doll Tea.'”
On Sunday, Jennifer said there’s Christmas games, crafts and Santa’s workshop, where visitors can meet Santa.
Jennifer said the three-day event should draw upwards of 8,000 people.
