(November 21, 2013) Jackson, Tenn.- The Jackson Transit Authority set a price for the Day Pass at their board meeting on Thursday afternoon.
The board agreed to set the price of the day pass at $4.00. The pass will be implemented at the beginning of 2014.
The JTA board also agreed on a name for their new bus route. The route, now known as the Park Place route, has changed it’s direction since the last meeting.
The route, as of this meeting, is set to alternate it’s stops between the “Vo-Tech” stop and the new Park Place stop.
They will also ensure that the Vo-Tech Center will be serviced in the morning and in the afternoon for those who attend classes at the center.
An earlier plan of the route only serviced the center in the morning and then again in the afternoon with Park Place serviced the rest of the time.
