(February 19, 2014) Jackson, Tenn.-The deadline to qualify for the May 2014 Primary and August Election is February 20 at noon.
Multiple Madison County positions will be up for election in the May primary for the August elections.
Three Circuit Court Judge District 26 positions are on the ballot for this year. District 26 covers Madison County, Chester County, and Henderson County.
All information listed is current as of February 19, 2014.
Circuit Court Judge in Division 1 is Judge Roy B. Morgan who has qualified to run in 2014. He is currently unopposed.
Division 2 is currently overseen by Judge Donald H. Allen. He, too, is currently unopposed.
Division 3 will see a primary before the August elections. Kyle Atkins (R) will run against Edward Martindale (R) in the May primary. Atkins has yet to qualify.
The winner of the primary will have to then run against incumbent Judge Nathan Pride for the Division 3 judgeship.
