The Jackson Beer Board approved permits for one business and two special occasions during their monthly meeting at City Hall, Tuesday.

Twana Miller and Ray Watt, representing an event – Giraffe Awards – were approved for a special occasion permit to sell, store, and serve on August 9, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

Leigh Anne Bentley, representing an event – Leaders Education Foundation banquet – was approved for a special occasion permit to sell, store, and serve on August 14, 2025, at the Carl Perkins Civic Center.

Kanubhai Patel was approved for a permit for a business known as Brockton USA 1 LLC dba Grab & Go Mart, 2016 South Highland Avenue, for selling, storing, and distributing for consumption off the premises.
