The Jackson Rockabillys were awarded the 2023 Prospect League Baseball Broadcast of the Year by league-wide vote, and Dennis Bastien, Rockabillys President and General Manager, made it official when he presented – on behalf of the Prospect League – the award to Paul Schulze during a presentation at The Ballpark at Jackson, Wednesday.
The Rockabillys partnered with Paul Schulze, founder and executive producer Worthy Road Studios – BallGame Blitz Sports Network – to broadcast all home games on Prospect League TV during Jackson’s 2023 season.
According to the Facebook page of the Jackson Rockabillys – “Let the sun shine on Worthy Road Studios! It’s a great day to recognize Paul Schulze and Worthy Road Studios for the outstanding and exciting work in 2023 earning us the PLTV Broadcast of the Year! Look forward to more great productions of Rockabillys baseball in 2024!”
In the inaugural year of Rockabillys’ baseball on PLTV, the Rockabillys put out a stellar product led by the Worthy Road Studios’ team including the most cameras featured on a Prospect League Broadcast, state-of-the-art broadcast graphics, HD visuals, instant replays, picture-in-picture displays, and so much more!
For all their hard-word the Rockabillys finished the 2023 season with one of the most watched broadcasts in the league including the second-most watched game in PLTV history on June 20th against the (Burlington, Iowa) Bees.
