Woman charged with possession, discharging firearm while under the influence at convenience store on 45 Bypass

 

Madison County, TN – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office reports that Raven Nicole Brewer, a resident of Memphis, has been charged with reckless endangerment and possession of a firearm while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.

The incident took place on May 11, 2024, at approximately 11:03 p.m., when deputies responded to an altercation between multiple females at the Shell Gas Station, 299 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass.

Upon arrival, Brewer was identified and located inside the business with a handgun in her possession and taken into custody without incident.

During the investigation, it was determined that Brewer had discharged two rounds from a handgun within the store premises.

Fortunately, despite the presence of other citizens at the time, no one was struck or injured by the gunfire.

Furthermore, Brewer admitted to authorities that she was under the influence of both alcohol and
marijuana at the time of the incident, compounding the seriousness of the situation.

Raven Nicole Brewer is currently being held on a $50,000 bond at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex.
