The request to rezone property located at the southeast corner of Windy City Road and McClellan Road from a Single-Family Residential District to a Planned Unit Commercial District, has been recommended to be sent to the Jackson City Council by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.
Comprising of approximately 22.63 acres, the request was submitted by Prosper Management, LLC on behalf of Superior Acquisitions, LLC.

Absolutely not! Meanwhile, they let the area around the mall and highland just go to ruin! It’s as bad if not worse than downtown. Leave the residential areas alone! It’s very nice and there are 3 schools in the immediate area. Can you imagine the traffic and crime you will bring to a peaceful area. Horrible idea caused by greed!
The property on Vann Drive is not zones for Duplexs ….it is zoned for residential……houses….please read the zoning regs. The developers are tryung to make it sound like they have to do the duplexes .. and of course the developers want it changed to commercial ….more money for them …but less quality of life for the homeowners…..feel free to contact me for the residence side …I live at 126 Country Club Ln.
