(.May 8, 2014) Jackson, TN – The Healthy Heights employee wellness program at West Tennessee Healthcare will soon receive national recognition. Healthy Heights will be among forty three programs across the country to receive the 2014 AWE Health and Wellness Seal of Approval Award. The Alliance for Workplace Excellence (AWE) will host their Annual Award Luncheon on May 20 in Bethesda, Maryland when Healthy Heights will be recognized.
Healthy Heights encourages West Tennessee Healthcare employees to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle with educational courses, interactive events and incentives. Each participant in the program receives a health coach and is asked to communicate quarterly, along with logging exercise, completing online risk assessments, participating in biometric and lab screenings. Participation can earn employees a cash incentive or credit toward a LIFT Wellness Center membership.
