Danny Wheeler, Curtis Mansfield and Phil Bryant accepted new leadership roles when the West Tennessee Healthcare Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.
Danny Wheeler becomes the new chairman of the board; Curtis Mansfield is the vice chairman and Phil Bryant is the board’s secretary.
“I’d have to say the board is a team, and being chairman really just gives me the opportunity to lead the meetings,” Danny said. “It’s an honor to be chairman, and I look forward to working with the quality council on things as we go forward.”
Danny replaces Vicki Burch, who has served as chair since 2016.
Danny, who filled an unexpired term in 2013, was first elected to the Board of Trustees in 2014.
Wheeler, Mansfield, Bryant, Burch and Greg Milam make up the five-member board.
