The Board of Trustees at West Tennessee Healthcare approved its budget for Fiscal Year 2020, during its monthly meeting at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital, Tuesday.
Highlights include –
The budget calls for $35.2 million to be spent in capital investments.
The total includes 49 percent, which will be spent on patient care equipment.
Jackson North Hospital will receive a $10 million upgrade, and $7 million is budgeted to renovate the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NNICU.
The Milan Emergency Room will get an influx of $4.2 million for renovations and $2.3 million is targeted for unnamed additional projects.
Each of the resolutions are subject of approval by the Board.
