JACKSON TENN – Jackson police are investigating the homicide of Kevin Minter, 26, of Jackson.

On April 15, 2018, around 9:45 p.m., police responded to a shooting at the Marathon, located at 2445 N. Highland Avenue.

Officers found one victim, later identified as Minter, on the ground near the gas pumps on the northeast side of the building. He was deceased from a gunshot wound.

Based on the preliminary investigation, the victim and suspects arranged to meet at the Marathon. There was a confrontation and Minter was fatally shot. The suspects left the scene in a white 4-door Nissan.

Investigators are attempting to identify two black males in connection with this incident. Surveillance photos are attached.
