For the third time in the last five years, Milan High School will have a new head football coach.
Wade Comer, who directed McKenzie High School to the 2022 TSSAA Class 1A state championship, steps across the Carroll County line and into Gibson County to lead the Bulldogs.
Comer replaces Derek Carr, who left Milan to become the head football coach at Lexington High School.
Carr played quarterback for Comer at McKenzie High School.
Comer celebrated a milestone at McKenzie winning his 200th game in September 2023.
