From the Jackson Police Department

Today, March 26th, around 5 p.m., some of the citizens of Jackson may have witnessed two separate pursuits of the same vehicle in the city limits of Jackson.

Officers with the Jackson Police Department along with other assisting agencies were attempting to stop a car and apprehend violent suspects involved in a shooting in Bolivar TN.

With the assistance of the FLOCK cameras and the BOLO from the investigating agency, the vehicle was located in Jackson.

Jackson Police along with other assisting agencies did an outstanding job pursuing this vehicle while providing real-time information. The fleeing suspects were apprehended in Milan TN.

Currently, there are no reports of injuries or property damage in the City of Jackson.
