UT football – Hudson Wolfe 4-Star tight end from Hardin County, decommits

According to VolsWire – Tennessee suffered a decommitment Thursday for its 2021 recruiting class.

4-star tight end Hudson Wolfe announced his decommitment from the Vols on Twitter.

“While playing college football has always been a goal, 5 years ago I could have never imagined what the recruiting process is like,” Wolfe said. “It has been a privilege to go through that process.

“Over the last 2 years, the UT coaches have been great, specially Coach Pruitt, Coach Os, and most recently Coach Fulmer. I’m grateful for the time spent with them. That’s what makes this a difficult decision. After countless hours of careful deliberation, I have decided to decommit from UT.”

Wolfe committed to Tennessee in June. The 6-foot-6, 240-pound 2021 prospect is from Hardin County High School in Savannah, Tennessee.

The Vols have lost commitments from 5-star linebacker Terrence Lewis, 4-star cornerback Damarius McGhee, 3-star defensive lineman Darrell Jackson and Wolfe in the past two weeks.

The early signing period takes place Dec. 16-18 for the 2021 recruiting class. National signing day is Feb. 3.
