USJ’s Ryan Rolison, was charged with the loss when the Hartford Yard Goats lost 4-2 in the final game of a six-game series at Richmond, Sunday.

Hartford is a member of the Double A North East League, which was the Eastern League.

Rolison (1-1), who played collegiately at Ole Miss and selected 22nd overall in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft, allowed four runs – three earned – four hits, and one walk, while striking out eight in four complete innings of work.

Rolison pitched five innings and surrendered just one run on three hits with no walks and recorded seven strikeouts in Hartford’s 6-3 opening day win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Tuesday.
