USJ’s Ryan Rolison earned his first win at the Triple-A level, when the Albuquerque Isotopes defeated the Sugar Land Skeeters, 4-1, Friday.
The Isotopes are the Triple-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies.
Rolison (1-0), a left-handed pitcher who started his second game for the Isotopes, allowed 5 hits, and 1 earned run in 5 innings of work.
He walked none and struck out 7.
Rolison, a 2016 University School of Jackson graduate who played two years at Ole Miss, was selected 22nd overall by Colorado in the first round of the 2018 MLB draft.
