University School of Jackson’s freshman goalie Hatley Vinson has been named the Jackson State Community College female ‘Athlete of the Week’.  Vinson helped the Lady Bruins to a 3-0 record last week.  The Bruins shut out JCS 9-0 & TCA 4-0, and defeated South Gibson 9-2.  Vinson conceded 1 goal and had 9 saves.

“The defense is really good and that gives me the opportunity to see the field and make plays when needed.  Its great to be recognized, but its definitely a team effort.” Hatley Vinson – USJ

“Hatley has really stepped up this year and is playing great, she’s a gamer and really loves the game.” Coach Paul Conway – USJ
