University School of Jackson will honor the Clay Carlock family for their significant financial contributions by naming the USJ football stadium “Carlock Stadium.”
According to a press release, many generous donors have helped to make this first stage of the USJ campus master plan a success, and some have offered funds for upgrades beyond our original plan. In recognition of significant financial contributions from the Clay Carlock family, the Board of Trustees has moved to name the football stadium – “Carlock Stadium.”
We are thankful for the improvements that have been made possible through these generous contributions, including the turf football field and the upgrades to the grandstands.
Mr. Carlock says, “Our family has enjoyed many years at USJ, and giving back to the school felt like
the right thing to do. We hope these improvements will support future generations of the Bruin
family.”
USJ will recognize the Carlock family at halftime during the Fayette Academy game, Friday.
