Thursday, October 17, 8:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m.: There will be temporary lane closure on I-40 east and westbound in Madison Co. at MM 68.00 for bridge repair.
MADISON COUNTY, SR-186 (US 45 Bypass) and I-40: Interchange improvements on SR 186 (US 45) north and southbound from the I-40 ramps to Old Hickory Blvd for paving and construction of retaining walls. Widening of I-40 from just east of Exit 79 to just east of Exit 82.
Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18, EACH DAY, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: SR 5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.
Saturday, October 19, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.: SR 5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.
Sunday, October 20, 5:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m.: The ramp from SR 186 (45 Bypass) to I-40 westbound will be CLOSED for crews to move barrier rail and pour the inside lane of the new ramp.
Monday, October 21 through Wednesday, October 23, EACH DAY, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: SR 5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.

Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, EACH DAY, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: SR 5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.
Friday, October 25, 8:00 p.m. through Monday October 28, 6:00 a.m.: Close and detour I-40 east and west bound onto ramps at exit 82 (Hwy 45/Highland Ave). Close and detour Hwy 45/Highland north and south bound at interchange to allow for steel installation.
Monday, October 28 through Wednesday, October 30, EACH DAY, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: SR 5 (Highland Avenue) will have intermittent left and right lane closures both north and southbound from Vann Drive to the Carriage House/Ridgecrest intersection for bridge construction activities.
Friday, November 1, 8:00 p.m. through Monday, November 4, 6:00 a.m.: I-40 east and west bound at Exit 82 will detoured onto the ramps and Highland Ave interchange will be closed for structural steel installation.
MADISON COUNTY, SR-198: The construction of a concrete box bridge on SR 198 over Bear Creek along with grading, drainage, and paving will cause temporary lane closures. Restrictions: Beginning April 29, 2019 there will be an 11’ width restriction and a temporary signal will be put in place. Motorists should watch for crews and equipment in the roadways. MADISON COUNTY, SR-223: The grading, drainage, and paving on SR 223 from North of James Lawrence Rd to I-40, including Technology Center Drive. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and crossing the roadways.
