BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Gulf South Conference announced its 2020 Spring Academic Honor Roll and Union University had 39 student-athletes make the list. The GSC honors those student-athletes with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
The Union baseball team had 17 players honored including Ryan Mets, Walker Adkisson, Andrey Arnett, Owen Bartholomew, Josh Bozian, Cooper Bullough, Christian Dudley, Joe Gee, Austin Hefner, Brandon Maxwell, Mark Myers, John Platner, Parker Shreve, Brayden Stewart, Dacoda Stone, Spencer Woods, and Austin Zeitler.
Eleven Union softball players made the list including Molly McKelvy, Parker Davis, Idallia Alarcon, Taylor Manley, Samantha McDaniel, Gabby Morris, Ashten Petty, Kristen Pickens, Sarah Smith, Alyssa Ward, and Grace White.
Union men’s golf had six players honored including Cal Templeton, Ben Muha, Reagan Oliver, Anders Rider, Blake Templeton, and Trey Tidwell.
Five Union women’s golfers made the list including Emma Korte, Mikaela Kossina, Kallie Robertson, Delaney Sain, and Nicole Taylor.
