Highlights from the October 2022 Labor Force Estimates –
The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee increased to 3.5% in October from September’s 3.4%.
During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 3.7% from September’s 3.5%.
The unemployment rate increased in all 95 counties.
Williamson County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.4 percent.
Bledsoe County had the highest unemployment rate at 5.4 percent.
Chester County had the lowest unemployment rate in West Tennessee at 3.1 percent.
