Highlights from the August 2022 Labor Force Estimates:
The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee increased to 3.4% in August from July’s 3.3%.
During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 3.7% from July’s 3.5%.
The unemployment rate decreased in all 95 counties.
Williamson County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.3 percent.
Perry County had the highest unemployment rate at 5.6 percent.
