Highlights from December 2024 Labor Force Estimates
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee increased to 3.6% from November’s 3.5%.
- During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States decreased to 4.1% from 4.2%.
- The unemployment rate decreased in 23 counties, increased in 33 counties, and remained the same in 39 counties.
- Moore County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.5 percent. Unicoi County had the highest unemployment rate at 5.9 percent.
