Highlights from the July 2024 Labor Force Estimates
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee remained the same at 3.0% from June’s rate.
- During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 4.3% from 4.1%.
- The unemployment rate decreased in 77 counties, increased in 10 counties, and remained the same in 8 counties.
- Sevier County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.5 percent. Weakley County had the highest unemployment rate at 6.2 percent.
