Highlights from the October 2023 Labor Force Estimates:
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee increased to 3.3% from last month’s 3.2%.
- During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 3.9 from last month’s 3.8.
- The unemployment rate decreased in 6 counties, increased in 73 counties, and remained the same in 16 counties.
- Moore County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.6 percent. Perry County had the highest unemployment rate at 7.9 percent.
