August 2023
- The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee remained the same at 3.1% from July to August.
- During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States increased to 3.8% from July’s 3.5%.
- The unemployment rate decreased in 93 counties and remained the same in 2 counties.
- Moore County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.4 percent. Lauderdale County had the highest unemployment rate at 5.8 percent.
