Labor Force Estimates – January 2023
Highlights from the January 2023 Labor Force Estimates:
The Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for Tennessee remained the same at 3.5% from December to January.
During the same time period, the Seasonally Adjusted Unemployment Rate for the United States decreased to 3.4% from December’s 3.5% .
The unemployment rate increased in all 95 counties.
Williamson County had the lowest unemployment rate at 2.5 percent.
Perry County had the highest unemployment rate at 9.9 percent
