Shelby County, TN – Trenton Dillon Harris, 18, was arrested on the morning of August 28, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia following an investigation by the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS).
Harris was wanted for a homicide in Shelby County.
On August 22, 2025, Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) Detectives began an investigation concerning a shooting that had taken place at a store located at 1890 Berryhill Road in Cordova.
An 18-year-old man was found shot to death inside a vehicle. Detectives developed the case and two days later, a First-Degree Murder warrant was issued for the arrest of Trenton Harris for this crime.
At the request of the SCSO, the USMS Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Memphis initiated a fugitive investigation to find Harris, which revealed that he had fled to the Atlanta, Georgia area. The TRVFTF provided investigative leads to the USMS Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force who found Harris at an Atlanta residence. He was taken into custody without incident and awaits extradition back to Shelby County.
