U.S. Marshals arrest 2019 First Degree Murder suspect in Memphis

 

Memphis, TN – On May 1, 2024, U.S. Marshals successfully apprehended Breanna Williams for
First Degree Murder, Abuse of a Corpse, Especially Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Robbery,
and Conspiracy to Commit Aggravated Robbery for a 2019 homicide.

Williams is accused of being involved in a robbery and shooting that resulted in the death of Baba
Said on July 3, 2019, at a residence in the 1400 block of Amarillo Street in Memphis, Tennessee.

A warrant for Williams’ arrest in connection to this crime was issued on April 24, 2024.

The U.S. Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force (TRVFTF) in Memphis took on the case as a fugitive investigation.

Yesterday (Wednesday) morning, investigators from the U.S. Marshals TRVFTF received information regarding Williams’ whereabouts. Working in collaboration with the Memphis Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Teams, Williams was located at a business in the 7200 block of Appling Farms Parkway in Memphis and taken into custody without incident.
