Two people were shot early Monday morning on Morningside Drive in Jackson, according to Jackson police.

According to police, shortly after 1 a.m. Monday a shots fired call was reported in the 200 block of Morningside Drive.

The condition of the victims were not known at the time of this story. No motive is known for the shooting.
