Jackson Police made a traffic stop because the vehicle had only on head light and discovered nearly an ounce of marijuana.
According to officers, the driver was asked to provide his ID and for consent to search the vehicle. The affidavit does not indicate what prompted the search. The driver gave consent. The officers discovered approximately an ounce (28.9 grams) of marijuana.
Officers arrested Bernie Young, Jr. and charged him with felony Drug Possession.
Young remains in custody
