Toyota Boshoku Tennessee, LLC 3300 Ridgecrest Road Ext., will invest $31 million and create 139 new jobs at the automotive components manufacturer.

Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe, and Toyota Boshoku Tennessee, LLC officials made the official announcement, today. (NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM & WNWS.COM broke this story, Thursday, Nov. 30)

The first phase of expansion is visible near the 193,780-square-foot facility that ARJ Manufacturing first occupied in 2001.

Recognized as one of the world’s premium interior systems suppliers and filter manufacturers, Toyota Boshoku Tennessee develops and produces interior, filtration and powertrain components.

Toyota Boshoku Corporation owns Toyota Boshoku America, which is based in northern Kentucky in Erlanger, about 10 miles from Cincinnati, and its world headquarters are located in Kariya City, Japan.

The Jackson facility employs 281 team members, and worldwide, Toyota Boshoku America and affiliates employ over 11,000 team members in 19 locations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina.

Toyota Boshoku Tennessee began operations as ARJ Manufacturing, which was a joint venture between ARACO Japan/Johnson Controls Inc.
