The extent of injuries have not been reported following an accident involving a car and tractor trailer on Interstate 40 West.
According to reports, the car slid under the semi.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Medical Center EMS and the Jackson Fire Department are working the scene near Delta Faucet.
Traffic is backed up – avoid area if possible.
