JACKSON Tenn – Winners of the Jackson Chamber’s new social media challenge can take a free round-trip flight to St. Louis on Air Choice One for a two-night travel package that includes professional hockey tickets and four-star hotel accommodations.
The Shop #Jackson TN and Win contest promotes the airline’s non-stop flights from Jackson to St. Louis, along with Jackson Chamber members and the city’s hashtag, #JacksonTN.
The prize is a weekend at the Marriott St. Louis Grand and all-inclusive tickets to watch the Blues take on the Nashville Predators on Dec. 30. Winners will also enjoy New Year’s Eve in the Gateway to the West before flying back to Jackson Jan. 1.
The contest is simple: post a selfie while shopping at a Jackson Chamber member business. Use the hashtag #JacksonTN, and tag the business on the social media platform of your choice. Chamber service providers, charities or any other member organization are also eligible locations.
Participants must be at least 21 years old to win one of two grand prize drawings. The contest runs through Nov. 26, ending at midnight. Winners will be selected by a random drawing at noon on Nov. 30 at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport.
Sponsors include Air Choice One, McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport, Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and the Jackson Chamber.
“I am pleased that Lambert-St Louis International Airport and Air Choice One are working with the Jackson Chamber to promote shopping at home this holiday season,” said Steve Smith, executive director at McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport. “This is such an exciting trip.”
Chamber member businesses also have a chance to win. The business with the most tags will receive round-trip tickets for four to St. Louis to encourage them to promote the contest and the #JacksonTN hashtag.
“We love working with Air Choice One, McKellar-Sipes Regional Airport and the folks in St. Louis,” said Julie Daniels, communications coordinator for Jackson Chamber. “They are willing to go the extra mile to promote their city as well as our local airport. The contest is a great way to do that, plus help our members spread the word about their business on social media and draw attention to our hashtag for the area, #JacksonTN.”
