Tennova Walk-In Clinic – Thomsen Farms is designed to provide easy access to quick care for residents and visitors in north Jackson and neighboring Gibson County. The walk-in clinic is designed to be a convenient option for children and adults when their primary care provider is not available.
Located near Union University, the walk-in clinic features exam rooms, procedure rooms, and on-site diagnostic capabilities, and has a staff of about 20 people, including two physicians and three nurse practitioners.
Its location is in proximity to several established and growing neighborhoods and retail complexes in the North Jackson area.
Tennova’s Walk-In Clinic serves the community’s medical needs—conveniently and affordably—as walk-in visits are typically covered by health insurance in the same manner as a doctor’s office visit.
Patients will have the added peace-of-mind knowing that higher-level medical resources are available nearby, if additional tests or treatments are needed since the walk-in clinic is part of the regional healthcare network.
The walk-in clinic will offer extended hours – 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. – Monday through Saturday.
Tennova Primary Care is relocating to Thomsen Farms from 31 Physicians Drive, and will see patients from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
