The College Basketball AP Top-25 brings its’ weekly chaos and this week is no different.
Some notable teams that made a sizable leap this week include: Tennessee, Kansas State, Baylor, and Arizona.
Tennessee climbs its’ way into the top-5 with their blowout win over LSU, 77-56. Tennessee’s next game sees the Orange and White battle Georgia in another SEC matchup on January 25th.
Kansas State makes reverberating noise as the Wildcats’ move up eight spots with their defeat of Texas Tech, 68-58.
Baylor was another team to make a significant leap in the rankings as the Bears’ moved up four spots from 21st to 17th. Baylor upset the then-ranked No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks, 75-69.
Finally, rounding our list of biggest leaps in the poll is Arizona. The Wildcats moved up five spots with their win over basketball blue-blood, the UCLA Bruins 58-52.
With less than two months remaining in the season and chaos still to ensue; following the Rankings will only become more riveting as we inch closer to Madness. March can’t get here fast enough!
