Located at 79 Sand Pebble Drive off Interstate 40 at exit 85, the new distribution center initially opened Oct. 18, and employs 53 people.

“This new facility aligns with our strategic growth initiatives and enhances MILAN’s integrated service offering to our clients,” Kevin Charlebois, CEO, said, “This expansion will further solidify our footprint in the Tennessee market.”
The company started as Milan Express on June 16, 1969 with one tractor and has grown to over 600 tractors and 1,400 trailers.
“This is one of the most exciting days in our MILAN history,” said Amy Cowen, Senior Vice President – Distribution, “The facility is state of the art … we are moving product in now in the 200,000 square feet of distribution space (and) our corporate office is absolutely beautiful.
“We wanted to do this for our people – our drivers, who are No. 1 to us in all they do, and those who support our drivers.”
Business Spotlight – Nikki Lovelace joins Town & Country REALTORS
As part of their dedication to excellence and professional development, Town & Country REALTORS warmly welcomes new REALTOR Nikki Lovelace to the sales team.
According to a press release from Lyndsay Best – a Digital Solutionist with B3 Creative Agency – Nikki is new to real estate, but she is not new to the world of small business in the West Tennessee area.
“I was raised in Pinson, so my life has centered around the Jackson hub,” Nikki said, “Real estate is a new opportunity to connect with the people I’m closest to in a professional manner.”
Nikki is no stranger to a self-made career; as the owner of Ochre & Ash Boutique in Jackson, she is well-acquainted with the multitasking and organization that running a business entails. Always goal-oriented as well, she chose real estate as the best way to meet her goals.
“I love experiencing new opportunities,” she said. “Establishing my career goals, along with time flexibility and financial freedom, is a big reason why I chose real estate. And Town & Country has such a great team environment and provides amazing networking among agents. I couldn’t ask for a better community.”
Apart from her blossoming real estate career and the success of her boutique, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family, especially her twins, Lincoln and Ellie. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Above all, she is most excited to keep chasing her dreams in the Jackson area.
