Country Inn & Suites, 1935 Emporium Drive, sell for $5 million +
Country Inn & Suites, 1935 Emporium Drive, has a new owner.
O R Investments sold the 78 room hotel to Sunshine Hospitality for $5,175,000.
The rooms are one-bedroom suites and studio suites with king- and queen-sized bedding with a sofa that folds out into a bed.
The hotel also offers two conference rooms with a capacity of 55 for each.
Leaders Credit Union named one of 2019’s best Credit Unions to work for nationally
Leaders Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative based in Jackson, has been named one of the 2019 Best Credit Unions to work for in the nation.
According to a press release, Credit Union Journal has partnered with Best Companies Group to identify companies that have excelled in creating quality workplaces for employees. The 2019 list is made up of 50 credit unions, and Leaders placed number five in their asset category and No. 18 overall.

Levy Dermatology opening Jackson location
Details are limited, but when the build out is complete, Levy Dermatology will open at 15 A Old Humboldt Road.
Brasfield Construction is completing the build out at the Jackson location which will consist of 3,500 square feet.
Levy Dermatology has two locations in Shelby County – 6254 Poplar Avenue in Memphis, and 1125 Schilling Blvd. East in Collierville.
Levy Dermatology will become the second tenant in the new 8,000-square-foot facility located near BancorpSouth, George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home and Towering Oaks Office Complex on North Highland Avenue.
Walk-In Urgent Care Urgent Team occupies about 3,000-square-feet at 15 D Old Humboldt Road.

Lee’s Famous Recipe opens at new location in Milan
One of Milan’s busiest restaurants has moved into a new, state-of-the-art building at 3099 S. First Street, today.
Lee’s Famous Recipe, which employs about 45 people and serves an estimated 3,500-4,000 customers weekly according to owners, has demolish its current building at 3107 S. First Street.
“We decided to make an investment for the future and for Milan,” said owner John Erdmann about the move. “The current building was not built to do what we’re doing. It’s one of the busiest buildings in the Lee’s Famous Recipe chain, which has about 140 stores.”
