Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella officially opens in Thomsen Farms

Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella officially opened at 429 Walker Road in Thomsen Farms with a ribbon cutting, Friday.

Business hours at the 2,430 square foot restaurant are 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays.

Italian recipes handed down through generations feature rich sauces, original pasta techniques, and home-made desserts.

The restaurant features casual seating, on-line drive-through ordering, and eco-friendly beverages and packaging. Alcohol is not served, but Bring Your Own Wine is welcome with corkage fee.

Mama Baudo’s Chow Bella leased the property from AnnMarie Kelley, FirstChoice Property & Development.

Tracy Sterling was the project manager.

Ragan Realty Group officially opens in Vantreese Plaza

A ribbon cutting marked the grand opening of Ragan Realty Group, 1463 South Highland Avenue, in Vantreese Plaza, Wednesday.

Ragan Realty Group debuts as the first Real Estate firm in South Madison County.

The Ragan team consists of principal broker/owner Brandi Ragan, her husband Ronnie, and son Riley.

“We at Ragan Realty Group are so thankful for this opportunity to serve the folks of West Tennessee and the Mid-South area,” Ronnie Ragan said, “We are especially grateful to those who attended the celebration – Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris and members of the Chamber including the Red Coat Ambassadors.

Westside Cleaners makes move to Walker Road in Thomsen Farms

Westside Cleaners has moved to 429 Walker Road in Thomsen Farms from 410 Oil Well Road.

The location is for drop-offs.

“I am very pleased to be in our new location and looking forward to the future,” said owner Chris Maxwell, “I feel very good about the continued growth in this area. Please come see us at 429 Walker Road.”

Westside Cleaners is leasing the 1,000-square-foot Thomsen Farms facility from Ann-Marie Kelley, FirstChoice Property & Development.

Westside Cleaners is also located at 293 North Highland Avenue.

Business hours at both locations are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday – 8 a.m. to Noon, Saturdays.

Samuel T. Bryant Distillery products headed for 4 local wine & liquor stores

The owner of Samuel T. Bryant Distillery, 1331 Lower Brownsville Road, just off Interstate 40 at Exit 74 in Madison County, is making inroads in Jackson.

Sam Bryant will distribute five of his products into local four local stores –

Mid-Town Wine Shoppe & Spirits, 930 Campbell Street

Party Mart, 2841 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass

The Forked Vine Wine & Spirits, 621 Old Hickory Boulevard

Ridgecrest Cellars Wine & Spirits, 2880 Ridgecrest Road

The products – produced in Jackson – will be available by week’s end are – Tennessee Gin, Tennessee Moonshine, Tennessee Sam (named after his father and a type of bourbon/scotch), Tennessee Pete (Sam’s take on Tennessee Whiskey) and Blueberry Moonshine.

Samuel T. Bryant Distillery produces 23 different products.

Mike Redman joins Town & Country REALTORS

Town & Country REALTORS is pleased to announce the addition of Mike Redman to its team of over 35 of the region’s best real estate agents.

According to a press release from Lyndsay Best – a Digital Solutionist with B3 Creative Agency – Mike was born in Seattle, but has has West Tennessee ties in Camden.

“I’m excited to launch into the Jackson and West Tennessee markets,” Mike said, “Joining Town & Country gives me that opportunity to really connect with this community and build my real estate career here.”

Before real estate, Mike worked for a large boating company, quickly becoming a district manager. In this role, he transferred all over the country, but he set down more permanent roots in 2008, returning to his family’s home state of Tennessee. He also enjoyed about six years of service with Homeland Security before making the jump to real estate.

“We are excited to welcome Mike aboard,” said Joey Hale, Town & Country REALTORS, “Our goal is to help new and established agents alike grow their businesses, and we look forward to see Mike shine as part of the Jay Grant Team.”

Bank3 opening in Thomsen Farms

Bank3 – a lending office – is scheduled to open at 429 Walker Road in Thomsen Farms in November.

When the build out is complete, Bank3 will occupy 2,354 square feet of space.

The Memphis-based bank is leasing the Thomsen Farms facility from Ann-Marie Kelley, FirstChoice Property & Development.

Bank3 has two locations in Memphis, and one each in Union City, Woodland Mills and Southaven, Mississippi.
