End of an era – Reggie Smith sells Town & Country Realtors

Reggie Smith, owner of Town & Country Realtors for 50 years, announced he is selling his agency to Joey Hale, an agent with the organization.

Smith and Hale made the announcement during the ‘Afternoon Show with Keith Sherley,’ on NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM, Friday.

“I’m real excited to break the news here,” Hale said, “I’m looking forward to honoring Reggie’s legacy, and he is going to be at Town & Country as long as he wants to be at Town & Country.”

Hale has worked at Town & Country since 2016, joining his wife Katie, who began selling real estate at the firm in 2010.

“There is a time for things to happen, and the time was right,” Reggie said, “I’m at an age where new leadership is needed, and I could not be more impressed for a man like Joey Hale to take over the reins, and take us to a new level.

It’s been a good 50 year run … We had other offers, but we didn’t feel comfortable until we found the right fit.”
