$old – Rodeway Inn, 2239 Hollywood Drive
Rodeway Inn, 2239 Hollywood Drive at Interstate 40 has a new owner.
Sharluc Hospitality LLC purchased the hotel from Eshanya TN Hotels LLC, for $980,900.
The sale adds to a growing list of commercial properties sold in Jackson-Madison County.
A few recent purchases include –
Restaurant Holdings LLC sold the property at 873 Vann Drive – Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers – to WRG Realty LLC, 873 Vann Drive, for $2,232,143, in August.
Stonebrook LLC sold 174 Stonebrook Place – which is occupied by Long John Silver’s – to Dean Stanton and Bernadette Stanton for $1,475,000, in August.
American Mattress occupies 742 Vann Drive – a property owned by McCall Development, which sold to Ernest Thomas Properties, a Mississippi Limited Partnership for $1,280,000, in June.
Tenants named for new complex on Exeter Road in Thomsen Farms
Construction on a new 11,000-square-foot office complex on Exeter Road is not expected to be completed until early 2019, but the new tenants have been named.
A dentist, Mark Miller DDS, financial advisor, Edward Jones, a medical clinic, Primary Care Clinic and a law firm – Gilbert Russell McWherter Bobbitt PLC will occupy the new facility located in Thomsen Farms.
Exeter Road is located off Oil Well Road next to the Bank of Jackson. The road extends to Union University Drive.
Asia Garden approved for beer permit at new location
For Asia Garden, 660 Carriage House Drive, the routine was basic, when the Jackson Beer Board met at the City Council Chambers, Wednesday.
The popular restaurant was approved for a beer permit to sell, store and serve beer on the premises where sold.
“All the permits had to be redone (after) moving right across the parking lot,” said Eddie Yeh, an owner of Asia Garden. “We’re just going through the process, working with the City. It takes a little bit of time sometimes, but the City is always great working with local businesses.”
Asia Garden Chinese & Japanese Restaurant remains in Hamilton Hills Shopping Center after relocating from 581 Old Hickory Boulevard.
The Beer Board also approved a request for a permit from Nooruddin Khotea for a business known as Jackson T Stop LLC, doing business as Save N Go, at 2268 Hollywood Drive, for selling, storing and distributing beer for consumption off the premises.
Construction begins on Texas Roadhouse at 1203 Vann Drive
Construction on a new Texas Roadhouse, an American chain restaurant that specializes in steaks and promotes a Western theme, has started on a two-and-one-half acre site at 1203 Vann Drive.
The property is located next to Dick’s Sporting Goods, and directly across from Hilton Garden Inn on Vann Drive.
“We’re doing the site work … utilities, paving, landscaping and the sidewalks, once the building is complete,” said Jeff Brasfield, president of Brasfield Construction Company, “Basically, we’re doing everything outside the four walls of the restaurant.”
The location was once home to one of the first buildings constructed on the west side of Vann Drive.
Total Construction Environmental Contractors from Milan razed the 20,000-square-foot facility for BayRock Investment Company, in August, 2015.
JHG Hospitality LLC sold the property at 1203 Vann Drive to Norvell Management LLC, for $1,550,000.
